Our Process

Planning

At Limesharp we like you to be fully involved in the planning, design and finally the end result so ultimately you have the online business you are looking for.

At this stage you will meet with one of our team to discuss your goals and expectations. We will also learn how your business works and how Limesharp can work for you.

We can also address any concerns you have with your current site and going forward we can discuss an online strategy including all post-launch marketing.

This Stage Includes:

• Proposal, timeline and quotation
• Marketing strategy
• Information architecture
• Wireframes

Design

A design meeting will take place to discuss layout, branding, colours and functionality grown out of the wireframes, which will enable you to visualise your site taking shape.

We will present you with a graphic mock up of the key pages of the design, which can be quickly revised and tweaked at this stage.

This Stage Includes:

• Branding
• Creative design
• Design revisions

Development

At this stage the designs are taken and coded into XHTML/CSS pages. These page files are then taken and integrated into either MODx or Magento.

If there are any bespoke functionality requirements these will also be implemented at this stage and for ecommerce we will introduce payment integration and the set up of shipping rates.

Content and products are also added at this stage. For ecommerce this is via a spreadsheet import and for CMS sites this is carried out manually, by you or by us.

This Stage Includes:

• Integration with CMS/ecommerce solution
• Bespoke development
• Uploading content

Testing

The testing of your website is carried out on Internet Explorer 6 & 7, Safari and Firefox to ensure it looks its best for on wide range of browsers. You will also be given access to carry out your own testing as required.

This Stage Includes:

• Final testing
• Bug fixing
• Client testing
• Final sign off

Launch

At this stage your site is complete and ready to launch. We will provide training in using your CMS software and we give you a 7 day post launch window for any minor changes or amendments you may feel are necessary after the site has gone live.

• Marketing strategy follow up
